Professional monitoring

Local service with professional alarm monitoring

Bright Home Services designs, installs and services your security system locally. For enrolled compatible systems, Becklar Monitoring—formerly AvantGuard Monitoring—provides the professional monitoring center that receives alarm signals and follows the response procedures in your monitoring agreement.

Always-on protection

Professional help, 24 hours a day.

A monitored system does more than sound a siren. When a supported alarm signal reaches the monitoring center, a trained operator follows the response instructions for that event and account—even when you are asleep, away or unable to answer your phone.

01

Your system detects an event

A compatible intrusion, fire or other enrolled sensor sends a signal through the alarm panel.

02

The center receives it 24/7

Becklar Monitoring receives the supported signal and presents the account instructions to a trained operator.

03

The response plan begins

The operator may verify the event, contact designated people and request emergency dispatch when appropriate.

About the monitoring center

AvantGuard is now Becklar Monitoring.

AvantGuard began monitoring in Ogden, Utah more than 40 years ago. In 2025, Becklar brought AvantGuard Monitoring and Eyeforce Remote Guarding together under the Becklar Monitoring name.

Today, Becklar operates redundant monitoring centers in the United States and Canada and supports security, fire, video verification, remote guarding and other connected-safety services.

Learn about Becklar Monitoring

A human response

A trained operator can act on a supported signal instead of relying only on a push notification.

Redundant operations

Multiple monitoring facilities help support continuity when a local disruption affects one location.

Clear account instructions

Your contact list and response plan tell the center whom to call and how to handle different event types.

One local point of service

Bright Home Services remains your local contact for equipment, system changes and service questions.

Monitoring response varies by signal, account instructions, local requirements and service agreement. Keep contacts, passwords and permit information current.

01

Clear roles, dependable support

You contact Bright Home Services for equipment and service, while trained monitoring operators handle alarm events around the clock. We make sure you understand how the pieces work together.

02

How an alarm event is handled

When a monitored alarm signal is sent, the monitoring center follows your account instructions. That may include contacting designated people and requesting emergency dispatch when appropriate. The sequence depends on the event, your settings and applicable procedures.

03

Keep account information current

Current emergency contacts and phone numbers help the monitoring center follow the right process. If something changes, contact Bright Home Services so we can help route the update correctly.

04

Ask us about coverage

Monitoring availability depends on the installed equipment and service agreement. We review pricing, terms and supported signal types before enrollment.
